Women Empowerment Cell is effectively functioning in our Institution in order to achieve the empowerment of womenfolk which helps the girl students in all walks of life. It aims at creating awareness regarding their rights and duties by conducting various Seminars, Guest Lectures and other welfare activities etc., are made emboldened to seek own ways and means to sort out their issues. The Cell acts as a perfect platform for women to share their views and experiences regarding their status in society and creating legal awareness among teaching, administrative staff and students. On the whole, the Cell also aims at the intellectual and social progress of girl students by sparing worthy counselling, wherever required. Thus the Women Empowerment cell encourages in promoting gender equity. Women’s day is the day when women are recognized for their achievements without regards to divisions, whether national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic or political while rallying for gender equality at the same time. On this day students of our college are encouraged and motivated with speeches by successful women from various sectors and are given guidance for finding the right path.
